The AIM LCR5 FIVE Series 2 represents a continuation of the successful AIM Series 2 by incorporating the technologies that made this line so successful into an in-wall Left Center Right (LCR) architectural speaker. By incorporating three pivoting titanium done tweeters in an Arrayed Point Source (APS) Tweeter Module, the AIM LCR5 FIVE focuses existing high-frequency sound into a targeted listening area which reduces reflection. The short explanation here is that the AIM LCR5 FIVE Series 2 provides clarity in vocal frequencies--its dual 5 1/4" kevlar woofers prevent acoustic lobing that reduces the clarity and quality of dialogue in theater-style sound setups. These kevlar woofers are a step up from the AIM LCR5 TWO Series 2 model of LCR speakers that provides even better quality of sound with longer active life. The included SpeakerCraft Acoustic Isolation Technology that reduces acoustic energy transfer to the surrounding surfaces.
